When you are considering a product, you must always first identify a market that indisputably has a problem you can solve.
It’s never the other way around.
I’ve seen too many would-be info-preneurers come up with ideas for what they ‘believe’ will be a successful product, spend endless money, time, and effort to get the product developed, and then try to find a market to sell it to.
They put the cart before the horse. And then after all their efforts they wonder why they are not as successful as they thought they would be.
This does not have to happen to you. Instead, you can start by using the information contained in this section and soon you will be well on your way to producing a successful information product that will have high buying appeal to a large segment of your chosen market.
You will discover the secret of clearly identifying a market first. A market that has some common problems, pains, fears, and anxieties. Only then, will you create a problem-solving information product that will help rid them of their problems.

After you decide on your niche you will need to get a domain name and hosting
Domain Name and Webhosting
When buying a domain name, make sure to register it for at least 2 years. This lets Google know you are serious about your business, and that it’s not a spammy domain name or recyclable. Google became a registrar which allows them to check the “Who-is” information of any domain name!
Do not register your domain names in a format with dashes between the keywords, like this keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com. This was very popular a few years ago. I still have a few of my older sites that are like this but it is no longer recommended. When you do register a domain-name, just make sure that you get one of your main keywords in it.
Once you’ve chosen your website domain name, it’s time to register for a hosting account. Webhosting allows your website to be connected to the world wide web, or Internet.
There are many hosting companies to choose from, and this is where you will have to do your research. There are many factors to consider when choosing your hosting company, like the level of support you need, services included, and monthly fees.
#3 Build Your List! Do It Now Regardless Of What You Are Selling!
The next thing you’ll want to do is get an autoresponder and start to build a list of prospective buyers and customers.
Autoresponder
An autoresponder collects email addresses and sends out messages automatically. You collect an email address and then you can send unlimited follow up messages over the next few days, weeks, months or even years. With an autoresponder, it is automatic. You don’t have to do anything!
The reason that e-mail is so profitable is because you can contact your subscribers “multiple” times.
When you have a list of people that you can follow-up and make offers to, you have the ability to profit at will.
A list or customer database is so important that businesses that are on the brink of failing can turn it around and start to succeed immediately when they start building a list and using it wisely.
On the reverse side, people who lose their list or neglect their list have seen their Internet business fold overnight.

You will need a product to sell. This is much easier than you think. I give you five ways to create your own product.
#1 Use Public Domain Material.
A work is considered in the public domain if:
1. It was published in the United States prior to 1923.
2. It was published in the United Stated between 1923 and 1978 without a valid copyright notice.
3. It was published in the United States between 1978 and March 1, 1989, without a notice and registration.
4. It was published in the United States between 1923 and 1963 with a copyright notice that was not renewed (remember; only 7% of copyrights issued through 1958 were renewed!)
#2 Outsource your product creation
For those of you who would prefer to outsource your product development, there are services such as Elance.com, Guru.com or RentaCoder.com that you can use.
You can hire a “ghostwriter” to write or produce your product for you for a fee. Everything from books, ebooks, audios, videos, tutorials and more has been produced using ghost production.
#3 Purchase Resell Rights
Starting your online business through buying the Resell Rights to someone else’s product is easy, fast and requires hundreds of times less work than creating your own products.

#7 Backend Sales
Three Important Aspects Of Backend Sales.
There are three points you should know. First is trust. Your customers have to know that your products are of value after they purchase the first one or two, so that they will trust their money will be well spent. You must create value and give a great free product or you will fail. If you want to turn your “free” customers into paying customers you must give them a reason to do so with a great product.
Second. Keep your promises. If you tell your customers they are going to get something from your entry level products, make sure they get it. Whatever you do, whenever you do it, make sure your low priced or entry level products which are not producing great profits but are producing potential resources for selling future products, are good, well-produced products, not just glorified sales pitches.
Third and finally, this is how your sales model should progress. Freebie –> Low price product –> Higher Priced –> Premium priced. Whatever product you’re selling online, I recommend you follow this sort of pattern simply because it works.
Now Let’s Take a Look at Your Million-Dollar Plan
1. People love learning more about their passions, or more importantly, how to eliminate frustrations in their lives and avoid the pain of loss. Find your HOT market!
2. Information products can be sold from your website giving leverage by selling 24hrs a day 7 days a week and the product can be setup for instant delivery after purchase.
3. The overhead cost to deliver an information product, MP3, screen-cam video, etc is zero cost.
4. If you produce and sell just 400 copies of an eBook, MP3, or video that sells for $47.00 each (which is easy to do online, I have a dog training course that has months that it sells almost 200 copies)…You will have made $18,800!
